The Lawrence J. Schoenberg Collection of Manuscripts, donated to the University of Pennsylvania Libraries by Penn Libraries Board members Barbara Brizdle Schoenberg and Lawrence J. Schoenberg (C53, WG56), embodies the great scientific and philosophical traditions of the ancient and medieval world. This thirteen-month wall calendar features illustrations selected from two astronomical treatises dating from the 1400s (LJS 463 and LJS 449). Digital photography for the calendar provided by the Schoenberg Center for Electronic Text & Image. The calendar is designed by Andrea Gottschalk.
